This market will resolve to "Yes" if the total number of technical pauses during the Playoffs stage of VALORANT Champions 2026 (also known as VCT Champions 2026), currently scheduled for October 7 to October 18, 2026, in Shanghai, China, is greater than or equal to the number specified in the market title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
The Playoffs stage consists of every official match in the double-elimination Playoffs bracket, including all upper-bracket and lower-bracket matches, from the Upper Quarterfinals through the Grand Final. Group Stage matches do not count.
A technical pause is any stoppage of play on a live map that is not a tactical timeout, called by a player, team, or tournament official. Every such stoppage counts as a technical pause unless the official broadcast or official tournament communications attribute it to a non-technical reason (e.g., a medical issue). Tactical timeouts and scheduled breaks between maps or at half-time do not count. Only stoppages that occur after the first round of a map has begun and before that map ends count. Each separate stoppage counts once: if play resumes and is then stopped again, that counts as two technical pauses. If a map is remade or restarted, the stoppage that led to the remake counts as one technical pause.
If VALORANT Champions 2026 is canceled or postponed such that it has not concluded by November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve according to the number of technical pauses in the Playoffs maps completed as of that time.
The primary resolution source for this market will be the official broadcast of VALORANT Champions 2026 by Riot Games, including its VODs (https://www.youtube.com/@valorantesports). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
